Its was all joy and excitement at Obrafour’s “Pae Mu Ka” concert which went down at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on November 9th.
Almost all the artiste in the music industry both, “old skul” and “new skul” came out to support one of Ghana’s rap legend but one notable name or artiste who was absent from the event was Okyeame Kwame.
Now, Zion Felix who was on on Radio Universe ‘Brunch2Lunch’ Entertainment Show, spoke Wei Ye Oteng, one of the organizers of the show. He explained that the Okyeame Kwame was not invited because of his busy schedules.
“To the best of my knowledge, I can’t say we invited Okyeame for the concert. What I know is, we sent an invitation to him during the launch but he couldn’t honour it due to his busy schedules. Okyeame Kwame has been busy and the Okyeame Kwame as I know will never decline an invite if he has free time on his hands,” Wei Ye Oteng clarified.
He also went further to say that, there is no feud between Obrafour and Okyeame Kwame.
If you really followed hip-life back in the days, then you know that this two are fierce rivals in hip-life and that why some people are suggesting that, Okyeame Kwame was intentionally not invited because of their long time feud.
In 2016, Obrafour said he has settled his beef with the “rap doctor” and things are calm between them.
He was also on Hitz fm, before the “Pae Mu Ka” concert where he told Andy Dosty he had already apologized to Okyeame Kwame after his Kasiebo track which was a diss song to Okyeame Kwame and Obour after they both collaborated and released ‘Killing the Game’ which suggested that the music industry was been ‘killed’ by bad initiatives from musicians and producer
We are yet hear an official statement from Okyeame Kwame on why he wasn’t able to attend Obrafour’s ‘Pae Mu Ka Concert.
