Nigeria afrobeat star, Burna Boy has written his name in the BET record books once again after he was adjudged the 2020 Best International Act.

Stormzy (UK), Dave (UK), Ninho (France), S.Pri Noir (France), Sho Madjozi (South Africa) and Innoss’B (DRC) were all nominated in the popular category.

The BET Awards was broadcast live from Microsoft Theater L.A. Live, June 28, 2020, virtually due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell presented the award virtually to the African Giant, the vide of which has posted on the official Twitter handle of BET.

Burna Boy who also won “2019 BET Best International Act” has now become the first African artiste to win two consecutive BET awards.
