Ghanaian radio and TV personality, Abeiku Aggrey Santana has revealed that he produced multi-award winning Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy’s first-ever song which was a gospel song.
He also praised Stonebwoy for his numerous contributions to the Ghanaian music industry and acknowledge his personality.
” Stonebwoy used to come and stay at my office for long hours and wait for me to listen to his tracks. He didn’t care how long he had to wait, he was very patient and I must admit that has contributed to his success..his very first track I produced was a gospel track and that was because of his background…his father was a pastor”, Abeiku Santana said.
Abeiku Santana also acknowledged Stonebwoy as the best Reggae Dancehall artiste in Africa and praised him for his determination to succeed despite the obstacles he has faced in life.
” Today I can boldly say Stonebwoy is the best Reggae Dancehall artiste in Africa. He didn’t allow the problem with his leg affect his career and for that, I am proud of him,” he stated.
Abeiku Santana also took a swipe at former BMG signee Kelvynboy for being ungrateful to his former boss, Stonebwoy.
“It is about time upcoming artistes learn to respect those who are already in the industry. Kelvynboy’s disrespect to Stonebwoy is unacceptable… If not for anything, Stonebwoy gave him the platform to be large and the least he could do is show appreciation”, he added.
